The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) intends to issue solicitation N5005425R0001 for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract (IDIQ-MAC) for requirements for repair and refurbishment of MK-41 Vertical Launch System(VLS). The Contractor, under the direction of MARMC as an independent Contractor and not as an agent of the Government, shall furnish the necessary management, technical support, labor, material, equipment, and facilities to accomplish repair and refurbishment of MK-41 Vertical Launch Systems (VLS) on board U.S. Navy and/or other military type vessels. This will be a Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (FFP/IDIQ) contract. The period of performance will be a base year, with a one-year option period. The applicable NAICS code is 336611 (Ship Building and Repair) with a small business size standard of 1,300 employees. In addition, this procurement will utilize the policies and procedures of FAR Part 15 "Contracting by Negotiation."
