THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE SOURCE
The 325th Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm-fixed price, single-source contract for a Standard repair for a Small Tactical Terminal (STT) KOR-24A. The approach is neccessary due to the proprietary nature of the STT system and its designation as a Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI), indicating a neccessity for certified and specialized maintenance. L3 Technologies, Inc., located in 5957 Landau CT, Carlsbad, California 92008, United States is the orgional equipment manufacturer and authorised servicer of this CCI, in accordance with the NSA COMSEC policy.
The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Commercial Procedures in FAR Part 12.
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AND A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government and shall be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed with existing database migration and licenses. If no affirmative written response is received by 2:00 PM, CST, July 30, 2025, then the Government will proceed with a single source award to L3 Technologies, Inc.
A determination by the Government not to compete this contract is based on this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communication is not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract.
