This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 – Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued.
This acquisition is conducted using FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services.
The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-06, effective October 1, 2025.

Options may be exercised in accordance with FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract.

The Government anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract resulting from this solicitation.
DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center, Patient Support Services Department (PSSD), requires on-call mortuary support services to ensure the dignified, timely, and secure removal and transportation of decedents from the NIH Clinical Center and other NIH-controlled Bethesda campus locations to a Government-authorized destination such as the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) or other designated receiving facility.
