MORTUARY SUPPORT SERVICES (USARMEA) LANDSTUHL, GERMANY

INTRODUCTION

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – West (MRCO-West), Fort Sam Houston, Texas, formerly Medical Readiness Contracting Office – Europe (MRCO-EUR) is issuing this Sources Sought notice to find potential qualified sources to provide comprehensive Mortuary Services for US Army Regional Mortuary for Europe and Africa (USARMEA). The Period of Performance (POP) will consist of one (1) twelve (12) month base period and four (4) twelve (12) month option years.

The Government will use responses to this notice in formulating its acquisition strategy. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regardless of submissions.

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.  THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) TO BE SUBMITTED.  IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT.  RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.  NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.  ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS NOTICE IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.

The requirement is currently supported under contract W9114F25PA059.

REQUIRED CAPABILITIES

The Government requires interested offerors be able to meet the requirements stated in the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS).  PWS is subject to changes until final award.

ELIGIBILITY

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812210, Funeral Homes and Funeral Services.  The Product Service Code (PSC) is G001, Social—Care of Remains and/or Funeral Services. 

SUBMISSION DETAILS

The Government will not review general capability statements, please ensure submissions are tailored to this requirement and information requested in the attached draft Performance Work Statement.  The Government requests Capabilities Statements be submitted electronically in PDF or MS Word format.  Offeror's responses shall not exceed ten (10) pages single-sided - standard 8 ½ X 11 pages using not less than 10-pitch font -- and shall describe the offerors technical expertise in sufficient detail to make an informed determination of the offerors ability to successfully provide the products/systems listed in the draft Performance Work Statement
