    Description

    The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires the procurement of Section 508-compliant multi-functional devices (MFDs) with capabilities for copying, scanning, printing, and authentication. In accordance with the Rehabilitation Act, all electronic and information technology acquired must be accessible to individuals with disabilities.

    This procurement will include hardware, maintenance and repair services, managed print services (MPS), and associated supplies. The anticipated base period of performance is from September 15, 2025, through September 14, 2026, with four (4) one-year option periods for continued maintenance and MPS support. 

    Devices must support independent and equivalent access for both sighted and non-sighted users. Accessibility features must include:Tactile navigation controls, High-contrast display options, Screen reader compatibility, PIV/CAC authentication operable by non-sighted users. 

    MFDs must allow users to perform all core functions—print, copy, scan, and authentication—without third-party workarounds or reliance on visual-only interfaces. Additionally, devices must include secure print release, data encryption, and automated data wipe capabilities.
