    NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: - Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract to Homefront Security LLC, for installation and repair of the alarm system and card access system for Wards in 17 North and 17 South of the Margaret Cochran Corbin Campus, Manhattan VAMC, 423 E. 23 Street, New York, NY 10010. The NAICS code is 561621 Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths). Equipment to be serviced, maintained, tested and repaired: Installation of four (4) PIV Card readers Installation of four (4) PIV 1200 Lb. Maglocks Installation of Four (4) PIR Request to Exit Motion Detectors Installation of eight (8) Armored Door Contacts (Door Position Switches) Installation of one (1) 8 Reader Continental Access Control Panel Installation of Element Card Access Wire to each door Installation of one (1) Panic Button Installation of One (1) Altronix Card Access Control Power Supply Program Licensing for PIV Readers and Programming into existing database. - Contractor must possess a valid New York Department of State License as it relates to the Business of Installing, Servicing, or Maintaining Security or Fire Alarm Systems. Additionally, Contractor must be a Continental Access Authorized Dealer to sell, install and maintain all continental Access Products. - THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by June 02, 2025, at 10:00 am EDT. Responses shall be submitted via email to Lisa.Harris4@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted.
