Telecommunications System (NLETS) and the Federal Motor Vehicle Registration System (FMVRS),
at our nations Points of Entry. This will enable law enforcement officials to check the real-time
status of criminal justice information of personnel and vehicle identification number (VIN) or license plate
number of subjects attempting to gain entry into the United States.
