DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT
The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE), in support of the Office of Intelligence, Security, and Emergency Response (S-60), is conducting market research to identify qualified contractors to provide occupational medical examination services for applicants and employees assigned to the Protective Service Division (PSD), Occupational Series 1801.
This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or a request for formal offers. Should USDOT move forward with procurement, a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued at a later date.
The purpose of this RFI is to gather preliminary information on the capabilities of vendors able to provide services of this nature and scale across multiple locations nationwide.
The NAICS code for this effort is 621111 – Offices of Physicians (except Medical Health).
The anticipated period of performance proposed is five (5) years inclusive of a one (1) year base period and four (4) one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the United States Federal Government.

The Office of the Secretary (OST) reserves the right to solicit from any business type based on the results of our market research.
