NEXCOM anticipates requiring a Contractor to provide all professional architectural and engineering (A/E) design services, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, construction, testing, commissioning, training, and closeout documentation necessary to renovate five Navy Gateway Inns & Suites (NGIS) lodging buildings located at Misawa Air Base, Japan.
The project consists of the design and construction required to provide HVAC systems with new high-efficiency, multi-split direct expansion (DX) electric heat pump systems serving lodging guestrooms and associated support spaces. The project shall include all architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and controls modifications required to support the new HVAC systems.
