    Description

    Sierra Army Depot is seeking sources for Market Research purposes who can provide: Recertification Testing 240 ea All cylinders must be inspected, Hydrostatic tested, charged, and stamped in accordance with (IAW) Performance Work Statement (PWS) section 5.3. Nitrogen Fill 240 ea Cylinders must be filled with nitrogen IAW A-A-59503, Type 1, Grade B, and Class 1 IAW the PWS section 5.3.1. Cylinder Failures (as needed) 20 ea Failed Cylinders will be replaced with a replacement cylinder as soon as SIAD is notified. SIAD will pick up the failed cylinder at the time the replacement cylinder is delivered IAW the PWS section 5.4.1. All replacement cylinders must go through the recertification process IAW the PWS section 5.3. Valve Failures (as needed) 100 ea All failed valves must be replaced by the contractor and continue recertification process. All replacement valves will be provide by Sierra Army Depot (SIAD) and all damaged valves must be returned to SIAD for disposal IAW the PWS section 5.4.2. If your firm is capable of meeting this requirement, please submit a product cut sheet or similar of the product with specifications. Also include your company socioeconomic status (i.e. Small Business, Other Than Small Business, etc.). This information will be used as market research in determining an appropriate acquisition strategy (i.e. Set-Aside). At this time Sierra Army Depot is NOT looking for proposals or quotes. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. This Sources Sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bid, Request for Proposal or Request for Quote and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Further action on this anticipated requirement will be determined following review of the responses from this sources sought.
