The Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch (FHHCB), Medical Readiness Contracting Office – West (MRCO-W), Army Health Contracting Activity, MEDCOM, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Exact Sciences Corporation, under authority of FAR § 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. This is for the non-personal service of breast cancer recurrence testing to support William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), Fort Bliss, Texas, 79906. Award will be on or about 23 January 2026. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 621511, “Medical laboratories (except radiological, X-ray)”. The Small Business Size Standard is $41.5M.

A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
