NOTICE OF INTENT - SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO WASTE MANAGEMENT OF IDAHO, INC.

This is a special notice of intent prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed price contract to Waste Management of Idaho, Inc. for refuse removal services at the Albeni Falls Dam site and the associated Albeni Falls Dam recreation sites. This contract is intended to comprise of one base-year and four option-years.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider responses received by 2:00 PM Pacific Time on 12 November 2025. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to hien.ho@usace.army.mil

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
