This is a notice of intent to award a sole source Commercial Supply contract to Sisco Marine LLC dba Marine Inland Fabricators for the customization, delivery, final assembly, and launching of two work barges to operate within the confines of Lake Cumberland, Kentucky, and its non-navigable waterway - yet this is also a sources sought for any large or small business that may be interested in performing the abovementioned requirement. The Federal Acquisition Regulations allow for the submission of capability statements from prospective offerors to show interest which shall be considered by the Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will consider any capability statements submitted by all responsible sources. Depending on the evaluation result of the capability statements, the Contracting Officer will determine if this sole source action is justified or if a solicitation must be issued to interested firms. Due to the procurement history of the requirement, a determination by the Government has been made not to compete this requirement; responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. If potential offerors choose to submit information stating that they can perform the work and are interested - past performance, and references regarding capability to perform these services must be provided along with the statement of capability. The Government will not award a contract based on the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary.
