The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to procure on an other than full and open competitive basis for the following items: (4) 1887238 FS-43 Control Unit, Rack Mount (4) 1887096 Precision Nitrogen Trace 250cc 110V (1)1883924-1000 Cable Assy, Control Unit. This requirement will be sole sourced to Teledyne Risi Inc., 325920 S Corral Hollow RD Tracy, California 95377. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 325920; (Explosives Manufacturing). The size standard for NAICS Code 325920 is 750 employees. The delivery shall be within 120 days after receipt of the order. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by 5:00 PM, (EST), 12 May 2025. Emailed responses will only be considered. No phone calls. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. The capability statement shall clearly indicate the firms experience, equipment/assets, background, and their ability to provide the required instrument without compromising quality, reliability, safety, accuracy, and schedule. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
