NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A BPA CALL ORDER AGAINST VEGETATION MANAGEMENT SERVICE (VMS) BPA

BPA Call Order Exceeding $20,000 Synopsis Requisition 1164820.

The USDA Forest Service (USFS) intends to award a competitive BPA Call Order against the multiple award schedule BPAs for Vegetation Management Service (VMS) BPA for 12444726Q0005 – Timber Stand Improvement Planting.

The USDA (USFS)  intends on awarding a competitive BPA Call Order against multiple award schedule BPAs for Vegetation Management Service (VMS) located at USDA’s Contract Portal, awarded against solicitation number: 12444122R0007 for vegetation management support services to include, but not limited to, site preparation (manual, mechanical, chemical, or combination thereof), tree/shrub/herbaceous/grass species planting, stand improvement activities, non-native invasive species (NNIS) treatments, watershed improvement activities and the creation of wildlife openings.

This is not a solicitation.  This synopsis notification of intent to award a BPA Call order does not constitute a request for proposals or submission of any information in response to this notification.

This procurement is restricted to those approved companies eligible for call orders under the Vegetation Management Service (VMS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for USFS. There are currently 20 businesses that will receive this solicitation.  The Call Order shall be issued via email to those companies listed on the BPA.  Any changes to the Call Order RFQ shall also be emailed to those companies listed on the BPA.  Point of Contact is winston.buchanan@usda.gov.

This requirement will be competitively awarded as a BPA Call Order against the aforementioned multiple award schedule BPAs previously solicited on the Government Point of Entry (GPE) at: SAM.gov.  The government will not provide feedback or evaluations to companies regarding their submissions in response to this notice.
