NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT

Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Joint Base Lewis- McChord intends to issue a firm-fixed price sole‐source award to Life Support International Inc. 2250 Cabot Blvd. W. #255 Langhorne, PA. 19047.

The anticipated NAICS code is 488390; Other Support Activities for Water Transportation with a size standard of $47,000,000.00. The requested period of performance is 30 SEP 2025 to 1 JAN 2026. The contract place of performance is Langhorne, PA.

The authority for this sole source is Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a Single Source, which states, “For purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.”

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 5.101(a)(1) requiring the Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract dissemination of information on proposed contract actions.

This is not a request for quotes, bids, or offerors and unsolicited proposals in response to this notice will not be accepted.

Interested parties may identify their interest and sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
