NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE

This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Fanny's Tailor LLC for professional tailoring and alteration services.

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform professional in-person tailoring and alteration services for Base Honor Guard uniforms. Services are required to ensure all uniforms meet the highest standards of military dress and appearance in accordance with Air Force instructions.

This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals.

Authority and Justification:

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source.

The intended vendor is Fanny's Tailor LLC, located in Warner Robins, GA (CAGE: 185P9)

Fanny's Tailor LLC has been identified as the only responsible source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. The vendor has over 20 years of proven experience providing these specialized, in-person services to Robins Air Force Base and possesses the unique understanding of military uniform specifications required by the Honor Guard. Due to the need for precise, in-person fittings and the vendor's established expertise, they are uniquely qualified to fulfill this requirement.

Submission Instructions

Interested parties who believe they have the capability to meet this requirement are invited to submit a capability statement to the Point of Contact listed above by the response date. This statement should clearly demonstrate the firm's ability to provide these specific in-person alteration services. Submissions must be made via email.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
