NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE FOR 3D PRINTER PARTS AND MAINTENANCE

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego intends to issue sole source award in accordance with Stratasys, Inc. under SAM.Gov’ Unique Entity ID #LJDYMQACQ837; Cage # 1GKB4, 7665 Commerce Way, Eden Prairie, Minnesota 55344-2020

This procurement is for a commercial supply contract for PSC Code: 7A20 for the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) which requires parts and minimal labor for their 3D Printer. The OEM Stratasys, Inc. Cage Code: 1GKB4 (large business entity) is the only authorized contractor that can provide mostly parts and minimal labor required to maintain a working 3D Printer in accordance with the Statement of Requirements (SOR). This commercial supply contract will consist of validity dates of a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. 

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
