NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE SOURCE BE300 AVIATION TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE TRAINING

The FAA intends to issue a single source five-year firm fixed price contract for Beechcraft 300 aircraft technical maintenance training to ensure continued airworthiness, safety, and regulatory compliance for its fleet of BE-300 aircraft. There is only one vendor that is authorized by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 142 Training Center. Contracting for maintenance training with a Training Center certificated under 14 CFR Part 142 ensures that the vendor receives regular oversight and quality control. Training must align with current technical manuals, service bulletins, and regulatory requirements applicable to the Beechcraft 300 series aircraft and the Flight Program Operations FAA-approved 14 CFR Part 135 maintenance program.
