NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, 8 AF IDS ACS

1. The 2d Contracting Squadron, Barksdale AFB, hereby submits an intent to sole source in accordance with (IAW) 41 U.S.C. 1901 and 41 U.S.C. 3304.

2. Prometheus Security Group Global (PSG), doing business as LDIA Holdings, LLC, has been identified as the sole source capable of providing the necessary Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Access Control System (ACS) for Building 5454, 8 AF, AFGSC Headquarters (HQ). Given the proprietary nature of PSG's VICADS system, the necessary compliance with security protocols, and the critical need for system uniformity, Prometheus Security Group Global is the only viable provider for this project. Sourcing the required IDS and ACS equipment from PSG through a sole source acquisition is not only justified but necessary to maintain the security, integrity, and functionality of the systems. Alternative solutions would compromise operational efficiency, incur additional costs, and introduce risks that cannot be accepted, especially given the sensitive nature of the Air Force's security requirements. Therefore, procuring these services from PSG is both a practical and justified decision.

3. Subject to FAR 5.207(16)(i), All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, roposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
