    SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE-LRL) will be soliciting proposals the Repair of an Aircraft Arresting System and Re-Striping project located at Homestead ARB, FL. As part of the construction contract solicitation, USACE-LRL intends to include the following sole source requirements:

    SAFRAN: The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand requirement that consists of hardware kits from Textile Brake Manufacturer (SAFRAN) this is necessary for a complete and functional MB100.10C Textile Aircraft Arresting System (TAAS). The anchors are specifically designed and manufactured by Safran to fit the TAAS and are only available for purchase from Safran.
