NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE ONE (1) CELLACA MX HIGH-THROUGHPUT AUTOMATED CELL COUNTER SYSTEM, ON-SITE INSTALLATION, TRAINING, AND MONTHLY CONFIGURATION SERVICES.

The Contractor shall provide one (1) Cellaca MX High-throughput high speed cell counting system that has the following minimum specifications, or equivalent:

1. The device shall be capable of processing 24 samples in three (3) minutes or less.
2. Shall not require cleaning in the counting workflow.
3. Shall not generate liquid waste.
4. Shall require a sample size no greater than 50 microliters (µL).
5. Shall be capable of analyzing cells from 5 to 80 micrometers (µm).
6. Shall have the capacity to accommodate a large cell concentration range (~105 to 107 cell per milliliter).
7. Shall have disposable cell sample plates that can accommodate up to 24 samples.
8. Shall use dual fluorescence imaging for live/dead characterization.
9. Shall have dimensions not to exceed: 13 inches x 13 inches x 16 inches.
10. Shall weigh 50 pounds (lbs.) or less.
11. Shall include on-site installation and training on Cellaca MX High-throughput system.
12. Shall include monthly service and technical/customer support for required system configurations.
13. Shall be delivered to 2800 Powder Mill Road, Bldg. #102, Adelphi, MD 20783.
