    Description

    THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of Chief Procurement Officer on behalf of its Office of Engraving/Engraving Branch intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to purchase Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) spare parts for the  at the Western Currency Facility (WCF) for ink manufacturing. The spare parts required are proprietary and can only be acquired from ChemCeed LLC. The Government intends to award a sole source contract with ChemCeed LLC, utilizing “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements” IAWFAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). Anticipated award date will be March 20, 2025.

    This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
