Marine Corps Installations - National Capital Region (MCI-NCR), Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Quantico, VA hereby gives notice of intent to award a purchase order to RAPISCAN SYSTEMS INC (CAGE Code: 04HU6) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.102(a); the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. This procurement is to provide a preventative maintenance work and repair services to the existing Rapiscan 620XR X-Ray Systems, with a period of performance of 15 September 2026 - 14 September 2031, to include one base year and 4 one-year option periods in support of the USMC National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement to be considered, which, if received by the expiration of this notice on 27 July 2026 at 3PM EST. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
