NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - TNCC

This synopsis is in accordance with FAR Part 5, Notice of Intent to award a sole source requirement. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and email requests will not be honored. Only one (1) responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to award a sole source contract to the contractor, Emergency Nurses Association to provide military nursing professionals with access to The Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) as prescribed by the Emergency Nurses Association. The TNCC is a standardized training program developed by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) to enhance trauma care by military nurses in both prehospital and clinical environments. This training ensures consistent trauma care standards in operational and garrison settings, enabling rapid decision-making and interventions. The Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute uses TNCC to prepare military nursing personnel assigned to Role 2 and Role 3 medical units.
