NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE USCG BASE KODIAK

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price award for Inspection and repair to CCTV for US Coast Guard Base Kodiak, Kodiak Alaska. The vendor will be INTER-PACIFIC INC .,1278 BARCLAY BLVD, BUFFALO GROVE, IL 60089 UEI: UWGBMU9YCAN1. The period of performance will include one base year of services. If all options are exercised, performance would expire 14 SEP 2026.

This action is being awarded on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-2, services required by the agency are of unusual and compelling need that delay in award of a contract would result in serious injury, financial or other to the Government. Currently, INTER-PACIFIC has knowledge of the infrastructure and equipment in place to immediately inspect and repair equipment.

USCG Base Kodiak, Kodiak AK 99619 will be the procuring entity for this effort. Performance will be located at Kodiak, AK 99619. The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses, and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 517112.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 4 Apr 2025, at 1:00 p.m., Alaska time. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
