NYPA MAINTENANCE AND UPGRADE OF ELECTRICAL POWER TRANSMISSION INFRASTRUCTURE TO GLS

The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS) Contracting Office, intends to award sole source purchase order, to the state government agency the New York Power Authority (NYPA), under authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a) -Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, for electrical upgrades and routine electrical maintenance. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 926130, Regulation and Administration of Communications, Electric, Gas, and other Utilities. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order for electrical upgrades and routine electrical maintenance. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, Contracting Office intends to make this award to the New York Power Authority, 30 S Pearl Street, Albany, New York, 12207.
