    Description

This purpose of this Special Notice is to encourage vendors to update their business information in the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) Supplier Registration Database link.

On April 4, 2022, the federal government transitioned from Dun & Bradstreet numbers (DUNS) to Unique Entity Identifiers (UEI). This new UEI ID number must be provided for any new or existing vendor registration information in the OCC database. If companies do not have a UEI ID, they may visit the SAM.gov homepage link and request an ID number.

This vendor information contained in the OCC Supplier Registration Database is important because the agency uses the database to conduct early market research for potential future agency business opportunities. The OCC also uses this database information to inform businesses about internal and external outreach events that the OCC is attending or sponsoring.

The OCC is committed to increasing business opportunities for the small business community as well providing opportunities and technical assistance to minority- and women-owned businesses. The OCC's Small Business and Business Activities Programs work together to increase diversity in the agency's procurement activities. For more information, please visit the OCC's Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI) program website link.
