NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ) is conducting market research to identify local Puerto Rican sources with the capability and capacity to perform ship repair services on U.S. Navy surface ships located within Puerto Rico. Note: 10 U.S. Code § 8680 is applicable to this sources sought notice. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 336611 Ship Building and Repairing. Submission Requirements: Interested sources are invited to submit a capability statement that includes the following information: 1) Contractor Information: Provide your company name, address, POC name, phone number, email, CAGE code, and NAICS.??? 2) Size of Business: Large or small business. If small, please provide the socioeconomic status.???? 3) Provide a brief description of your organizations relevant capabilities, resources, technical competencies, and experience specific to ship repair services. Standard brochures and/or paraphrasing of the requirement will not be considered sufficient to demonstrate the capabilities of an interested party. 4) A copy of your Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and/or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) Certification.
