    Description

    The PMA-264 Air ASW Systems, USA B1 Industry Day will be hosted at Precise Systems, 22290 Exploration Dr, Lexington Park, MD on 20 August 2025 starting at 0900.

    The primary objective of this event is to discuss the Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase of the USA B1 program for the SSQ-145 Digital DIFAR Vertical Line Array (DDVLA) sonobuoy.  

    The 20 August agenda will include an introductory presentation by PMA-264 leadership, followed by one-on-one sessions where vendors can present producibility briefs to the Government for more personalized discussions. 
     

    The Industry Day Event is open to all industry representatives whose companies can provide products and services to PMA-264.

    Who Should Attend? 
    •  Federal contractors (large and small). 
    •  Representatives from Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses.

    Interested vendors who attend this industry day shall provide a producibility briefing to the Government three days prior to the event   that includes the following:
    •    Manufacturing readiness posture such as availability of pre-qualified materials and components.
    •    Lead times for procurement.
    •    Manufacturing processes required.
    •    Tooling requirements.
    •    Complexity of assembly.
    •    Potential for defects.
    •    Cost of manufacturing.
    •    Experience creating or working from a Level 2 Technical Data Package (TDP).
