POINTLOGIC SERVICES

The Department of Energy, Energy Information Administration (EIA), intends to issue a Firm- Fixed Price (FFP) Sole Source to S&P Global for its PointLogic Services in accordance with the data license agreement. The subscription to this data service will allow EIA to download data on natural gas, gas reports and market news, access to natural gas pipeline data warehouses with daily file transfer capability, and republication rights of certain natural gas supply, demand and flow data to support EIA’s collection, statistical estimation, analysis, short-term modeling, geographic information services (GIS) capability, data validation, publications and energy dashboard maintenance. The anticipated period of performance will be a one (1) year Base Period and four (4) optional one-year periods.

This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to meet this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with strong and convincing evidence that clearly articulate the company’s ability to satisfy this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses that demonstrate comparable capability are received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
