Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) Production Resources Department (Code 900R) seeks to procure the required contractor support for non-nuclear touch labor support services in support of NNSY. This solicitation will result in a Multiple Award (MAC) Indefinite Deleivery Indefinite Quantitee (IDIQ) Contract. Touch labor services provide suppliment to NNSY’s organic workforce for current and future availoabilities. This requirement supplements NNSY's needs for the following trades, some with various specialty certification requirements as delineated in the Performance of Work Statement (PWS): Marine Electrician, Marine Insulator/Lagger, Marine Pipefitter, Outside Marine Machinist, Painter, Rigger/Weight Handler, Shipfitter, Shipwright, Temporary Services Electrician, Temporary Services Pipefitter, Welder, Forklift Operator/Material Handler, Forklift and Aerial Lift Operator, Marine Sheet Metal Mechanic, Woodcrafter/Plastic Fabricator, and Fire Watch/Tank Watch. Vendor oversight and execution to be provided by Supervisors, Project Managers and Program Managers.
