PROWATCH & MAXPRO

The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely with Honeywell International for the ProWatch and MaxPro systems is to maximize electronic security systems and video management system functionality and operability, increase system lifespan, and increase end-user capabilities.  A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by RFO 12.201-1.  For purchases exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold.  The requirements at RFO 12.102 apply to sole-source (including brand-name) acquisitions of commercial products and commercial services conducted pursuant to subpart 12.1.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths).

This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals.  No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored.  No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in writing to ruth.a.johnson@usace.army.mil no later than 10:00 AM Pacific Time on April 20, 2026.  Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government.  The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements.  A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
