    Description

    THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Contractor shall replace an existing Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) roof system on a concrete building located in New Bedford, MA.  Includes all labor, equipment, tools, services, and materials to demolish the existing roof and install a new fully adhered 60-mil thick PVC roofing system.  The exterior dimensions of the building are approximately 59 feet by 25 feet.  The building has two distinct levels, both the lower and upper roofs shall be replaced.   Demolition work includes removal of the entire roof system including the insulation, PVC material, walk pads, wood blocking, flashing, metal facia, down to the underlying concrete roof deck.  The new PVC roof shall be designed with tapered rigid insulation installed onto the prepared concrete roof decks. The new PVC roof system shall be watertight and properly pitched to shed water from the roof.  Existing lightning protection systems, railings, cameras, lights, conduits, chimneys, antennas and other equipment mounted on the roof shall be protected and moved as required to install the new roof.  The new 60-mil PVC roof system shall be designed for high wind coastal conditions and be warranted by the manufacturer for 30 years.  Contractor is responsible for removal and proper disposal or recycling of all debris generated.
