Where VA community-based outpatient clinics are typically contracted to firms that must identify leased sites of care, and then build-out and staff those sites prior to commencing operations, Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers maintains a co-located primary care clinic for veterans within an existing Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). WBVAMC is currently in the planning phase for procurement of a long-term contract for these services. To provide continuity of care pending the long-term procurement, the agency intends to negotiate a short-term service contract to include a one-year performance period to commence on 08/01/2026. WMCHC is the only known source that can maintain continuity of care within the required performance period. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than 05/28/2026 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Determination of procurement strategy based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
