Where VA community-based outpatient clinics are typically contracted to firms that must identify leased sites of care, and then build-out and staff those sites prior to commencing operations, Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers is uniquely situated in possessing capability to maintain a primary care clinic for veterans within an existing Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). To achieve cost efficiency and continuity of quality care by procuring services through this established local healthcare system, WBVAMC intends to negotiate a service contract to include a one-year performance period.
