Project Title: Teleradiology Services for Northern Arizona VA Health Care System (NAVAHCS). The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for Teleradiology Services for NAVAHCS. The contractor shall furnish board certified Radiology Physician services to the beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the NAVAHCS. The VA Radiology Services follow the standards & guidelines set forth by American College of Radiology (ACR). The contractor providing teleradiology services shall provide services consistent with The Joint Commission (TJC) that meet or exceed VA and the ACR guidelines. The contractor shall be available Monday through Friday from 15:30 PM MST to 07:00 AM MST, and 24 hours per day on Saturdays, Sundays, and all Federal holidays. Transmission of images for interpretation may occur outside of these work schedule windows. In addition , the contractor shall be available to the facility for consultation and interpretation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year for STAT, emergent, and routine exams as needed. The period of performance for this effort will be base period of six (6) months, with one (1) six-month option. This sole-source contracting action is conducted pursuant to FAR 12.102(b). This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotations or proposals. This is not a solicitation; it constitutes the synopsis of the proposed action. This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the action proposed in this announcement. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission or objective. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. This is not a solicitation.
