Active Solicitation · DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS
AI Summary
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking proposals for a Tele-Radiology Contract under NAICS 621111. This opportunity involves providing tele-radiology services for VISN 9, with a base period plus four option years. Proposals must ensure compliance with proprietary information requirements. Interested vendors should submit their proposals by the specified deadline.
This amendment is in response to a request for additional information with answer and is provided to ensure that all interested parties have the same information prior to submission of proposals. Question: A vendor asked if they could redact the names, license numbers, NPI numbers and other identifying information about the Radiology Staff they intend to submit as staffing on their proposal as they believe it to be proprietary information and if not, the vendor wanted to know how the Government ensures that the information is protected from competitors. Answer: Proposals received in response to RFPs are submitted directly to the Contracting Office and are not shared with any other entity. The Contracting Officer evaluates the proposals and awards the contract to the company representing the best value meeting 100% of the requirements of the RFP. NO proposal information is shared with any other bidders or entities and is not publicly available. We take proprietary information and personal data associated with proposals very seriously and will not release to any other entity at any time. Note however, that we are required to post an award notice at time of award stating the name and address of the awardee and the total dollar amount of the award. No other contract data is posted as that was published in the RFP for clauses and unpriced line items required. Personnel and line item pricing are not listed in that notice. If necessary, redacting is acceptable for the proposal but contracting must be provided unredacted information within 5 days of award if selected. Failure to provide the information at that time may result in termination of resulting contract from this RFP.
