    Description

In Fiscal Year 2018, the United States Congress approved numerous major leases for the Department of Veterans Affairs to enhance services for Veterans. The parent facilities, such as Saint Cloud VA Healthcare System, are collaborating with VA Office of Real Property and other support offices to secure lease award for developers committed to creating new sites of care for VA use. The Brainerd CBOC Major Lease project proposes a new outpatient clinic in the Brainerd, MN area. The facility will cover approximately 41,052 net usable square feet (NUSF), expanding the current footprint by 15,733 NUSF. This clinic will provide 230 parking spaces and will accommodate the Patient-Aligned Care Team (PACT) design, enhancing access to mental health, rehabilitation, audiology, and several other specialty services. These expansions aim to improve access and provide comprehensive care for Veterans in their respective regions.
