Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:

In accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source, the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Missouri Basin Region (MB), Nebraska-Kansas Area Office (NKAO) intends to issue an order on a Sole Source basis to Border States Industries Inc for a software maintenance and engineering technical support contract for its Rockwell Automation software and hardware on all NKAO installed Allen Bradley products.

Allen-Bradley is the flagship brand-name of a line of factory automation equipment owned by Rockwell Automation. Allen-Bradley offers the full range of electrical and automation equipment to help engineers navigate from design and installation through operation and maintenance. Allen-Bradley has a Distributor Partner network that offers exceptional knowledge and service that helps contractors design, implement, and support their automation investment. Border States Industries Inc is the only authorized distributor of Allen-Bradley hardware and software equipment for the Nebraska-Kansas Area Office in McCook, Nebraska.

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is June 5, 2025. Please note that this is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is June 4, 2025, at 9:00 pm Mountain Time.

A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
