Purpose of Amendment This amendment is issued to revise the Market Research Questionnaire and extend the response deadline. 2. Background The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is conducting market research to determine industry capability and interest for a potential surveying requirement involving a gradient boundary survey along the Red River, consistent with the Supreme Court decision in Oklahoma v. Texas (261 U.S. 340). The work may include surveying and locating portions of the interstate boundary between the States of Texas and Oklahoma along the Red River of the South in accordance with that decision. The Government is considering a single-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to support this effort. Specific survey tasks would be issued through individual task orders under the IDIQ. The Government is primarily interested in the respondents demonstrated capability and understanding of performing a boundary survey consistent with the Supreme Court-defined gradient boundary. Revision Notice: The Market Research Questionnaire has been updated to clarify licensing requirements under Question 3(a). Previous: Does your firm employ or have access to a Certified Federal Surveyor (CFedS) licensed in Texas and Oklahoma? Revised: Does your firm employ or have access to a Certified Federal Surveyor (CFedS) who is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas and a Licensed Professional Surveyor in Oklahoma?
