Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Johnson is issuing a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) Firm Fixed Price, Requirements Type contract. This requirement is for a contractor to provide all materials, facilities, personnel, equipment, management, supervision and all other items and services necessary to perform the rental, delivery and pick-up of diesel-powered automatic transmission 20-foot refrigerated trucks for the G3 and Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC), Fort Johnson, LA. This acquisition will be competed as a 100% Total Small Business Set aside under NAICS 532120, Truck, Utility Trailer, and RV ( Recreational Vehicle) Rental and Leasing (with the small business size standard of $47,000.000).This requirement is for a base period of 12 months and four (4) 12 month option periods. The contractor shall furnish and deliver the specified quantity of fully operational 20-foot automatic transmission diesel-powered refrigerated trucks (maximum of 15 trucks per task order) identified in each task order within 24 hours of receipt of a task order to Fort Johnson, LA 71459 for an approximate 30 day period for each Task Order (for each estimated 10 rotations per year). The contractor shall also be responsible to maintain trucks in a mission ready status. Each task order will designate the specific delivery and pick-up date. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about January 24, 2025. No paper copies of this solicitation are/will be available.
