The U.S. Army Contracting Command- Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to award a five-year sole-source contract on Redstone Arsenal, AL to Wide Open West Finance, LLC 7887 E Belleview Ave Ste 1000, Englewood, CO 80111 USA for the following items: Cable television and internet services. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under the authority of Title 41 U.S.C. �1901(e)(2) as implemented in FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source direct award under the authority of the simplified procedures for this service. This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive proposals, or a solicitation of offers. A solicitation will not be issued. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. This proposed contract will establish one base year period with an additional four 12-month ordering periods as options, for a total potential contract length of five years. The Armys need for these internet and cable services is critical and must have the contractor already approved and licensed to work on the Redstone Arsenal. WOW! is the only vendor able to supply these services without causing an unacceptable delay to the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action, upon response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
