The contract will be for a 12-month base year. The authority for soliciting from a single source is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). It is imperative at this time that this effort be supported by the contractor that possesses institutional knowledge of the current support being provided to AMOC and the AMOC COOP locations. Therefore, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly with Corp Ten International.
