    Description

    Please note this solicitation will be for restoration of the existing driveway including curb borders at a U.S. Government residence in Mauritius. 

    The U.S. Embassy in Port Louis Mauritius is seeking eligible contractors for the repair of the existing asphalt driveway & curb borders of a property owned and operated by the U.S. Mission to Mauritius. The solicitation will be launched on the  www.sam.gov website and on the U.S. Embassy Website https://mu.usembassy.gov/ around July 14, 2024. 

    The complete Scope of Work and specifications will be provided in the solicitation, once issued.

    The U.S. Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.

    1. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals
    2. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
    3. This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021)
