This is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District pre-solicitation notice for non-personnel services to provide relining and repairs service to 12 Sodium Hypochlorite storage tanks for the Washington Aqueduct (WA) at the Dalecarlia and McMillan Water Treatment Plants. This action will be 100% set aside for small business. This is a synopsis of the requirement ONLY. An official Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated to be posted in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE, https://piee.eb.mil) and https://SAM.gov on or around October 07, 2024. The anticipated period of performance is 240 days. The Contractor will be responsible for making fiberglass tank internal lining repairs on twelve (12) sodium hypochlorite tanks.  Repair services for these tanks will consist of grinding off the existing chemical barrier and deteriorated substrate, applying and curing new fiberglass matting, chemically compatible primer, and resins to re-establish a defect free structural layer and chemical corrosion barrier.   Tank Manufacturer: Belco MFG Co Tank Material: 2009 Material C-Veil (Resin: AOC Vipel K022) Tank used for: Storing of Sodium Hypochlorite at 12.5% concentration. Tank Quantity and Storage capacity of each tank: Dalecarlia Plant: 6 tanks with 20,080-gallon capacity each, Approximately 12’-0” diameter x 23’ - 9” Tall McMillan Plant: 6 tanks with 15,150-gallon each, Approximately 12’-0” diameter x 19’-9” tall
