Good morning,

Below are the Q&A responses I have from all contractors thus far to include yours:

Contractor 1:

If selected, do we have to remove, demolish the existing tower cabs and provide installation of the new cabs or we just need to deliver the tower cabs?

If possible, can you please share any drawings or example pictures of the building so we can put together an accurate proposal.

Response: Complete project is removal of old tower cab and install of new cab. See Attached

Contractor 2:

1.                      There is a reference to drawings, 5.12 Unit to have five quadplex outlets and four duplex outlets. Outlets

are wall mounted and circuited as shown on the electric plan,

sheet 4 of 7.

1. From below, I assume that this is a 10'x12' cab.

Two 12' walls to have two rows of 18" wide x 20 12" tall checkers, two 10' walls to have two rows of 17 18" wide x 20 12" checker

1. I am guessing that this is a bombing range tower(s).  Are there typical Air Force or USACE specs that accompany? 

Are they required to conform to any DOD UFCs

1. Hard to tell but is the45 degree glass referenced on the upper corner with 15 degree glass on vertical wall?

1. Are you looking for a price for the cabs only fob Tilden TX and you install?

Responses:

Question 1- Electrical requirement for the cab are  5 quadplex outlets  that are wall mounted and a total of 4 single gang junction boxes feed from 75amp 120/240vac panel  with ground bus and 8 circuits.  Reference to sheet 4 of 7 is in error no reference are available.

Question 2- Yes paint scheme two tone checkered pattern with said dimensions

Question  3 -  Need more time to verify requirements if any

Question 5- Price will include demolition(removal) of old cab, new cab, transportation to sire in Tilden TX, and install of new cab atop of tower.

Award is made due to price and other factors delivery/install, and customer review of specifications

1. PURPOSE.  Replace outdated tower cabs by removing older cabs and installing the newly fabricated cabs in their places.

2. SCOPE OF WORK.  Includes all fabrication, demolition, transportation, and installation activities required to complete the upgrade efficiently and safely with minimal disruption to ongoing tower operations. This work will ensure improved structural integrity, safety, and functionality of the towers, while meeting current operational and regulatory standards.

3. DELIVERY LOCATION AND DELIVERY DATE.  These cabs shall be delivered to the Texas Air National Guard 149 Fighter Wing/DET-1 (Yankee Range), located at 2200 FM 624 W, Tilden, Texas 78072 (28.23906 N, 98.71525 W) not later than October 30, 2025.
