Work shall be warrantied for a minimum of one year. As the work is to be performed in stages, the installation of new intercom systems must not degrade the performance of the remaining intercom systems. A site visit will be offered during the bid submission period. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed-price type contract. In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), all contractors must possess all permits and licenses required to do business in Spain. All offerors will be required to provide proof that they already possess said permits as part of their offer. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provisions 52.204-7. The guidelines for registration can be found at https://www.fsd.gov/gsafsd_sp The proposal shall be submitted as pdf document emailed to CatalunaC@state.gov and copy to Barcelona_GSO@state.gov as soon as possible but not later than June 6, 2025 by 15:00 hours Central European Summer Time (CEST). The email subject line must read "Proposal 19SP1025Q0001" and the email size shall not exceed 45MB. No proposal will be accepted after the specified time.
