The purpose of Amendment 0001 is as follows:

1. To provide answers to questions received in response to the RFQ.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 12) Subpart 12.6 – Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Financial Services (OFS), in support of the Single-Family Insurance Operations Division (SFIOD), is seeking a contractor to provide access to Software as a Service (SaaS) that allows SFIOD staff to research online current addresses of approximately 700,000 previous borrowers owed a Federal Housing Administration (FHA) refund. Task also include research software training and technical support. The government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract.
