RFI: IDR POWER UPGRADE

This is a Request for Information (RFI) only, issued for informational and planning purposes. It does not constitute a commitment by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pursue any specific acquisition alternative. Responding to this RFI is entirely voluntary, and the Government will not cover any costs incurred in doing so. Respondents are solely responsible for marking and identifying any proprietary information within their responses, as the Government assumes no liability for improperly marked data. Responses to this RFI do not constitute offers and will not be accepted as such. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation. Additionally, please do not request a copy of a solicitation, as one does not exist at this time. 

The Space Rapid Capabilities Office (SpRCO) is seeking information from primarily small businesses regarding their capabilities in providing electrical services to upgrade the IDR Power for a modular space. The electrical services for this RFI has been included in the attached draft Statement of Objectives (SOO). This RFI is being issued to find potential procurement strategies and does not constitute a guarantee of future work or a formal solicitation.  

Interested businesses are encouraged to respond with relevant information, to assist the Government in finding capable and interested businesses. The work will be performed at Kirtland AFB, NM. 

If you have the capability and are interested in this potential acquisition, submit a detailed capability statement (no more than 4 pages) which, at minimum, identifies: 

1. No more than three project examples providing the following information: 
   • Similar efforts related to a Intermediate Data Room (IDR) Power Upgrade for a modular space and/or relevant efforts aligned with the draft SOO.  
   • Provide customer Point of Contacts (POCs) for each project provided.  
   • Include the total cost of the project. 
2. Timeframe to complete the draft SOO deliverables. 
3. Include an estimated quote on the attached draft SOO deliverables, if pricing is apart of a GSA Schedule include Contract Number. 
4. Point of contact including name, phone number, physical address, and e-mail address. 
5. Size status and/or SBA certification. 
6. (If applicable) GSA Contract Number.  

Responses to this RFI or questions regarding this RFI shall be e-mailed to the POCs below. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. 

This RFI is for market research purposes only and does not obligate the Government to award any contracts. Responses are encouraged by small businesses. All information provided should be free of charge. SpRCO may request further information as needed to clarify capabilities.
